FOUNDER'S MESSAGE

Thank you for taking the time to look into what is happening here. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to share a piece of my heart with you.

A few short years ago, I began to change my life for the better. I was 30 years old, in a career I did not love, with my first child on the way, and something had to change. That something was me. I had to change, and change I did. I decided to take the biggest leap of faith I had ever made at that point and decided to enroll back in college. That sounds too easy right? Well, in an effort to make up for academically ruining previous opportunities, I decided not to just go to classes, I decided I was going to go back and play junior college baseball and earn a scholarship to a 4 year university!

It was here that I found myself. It was in the midst of the pain, the struggle, and the time management challenge of having a wife, a kid, a full time job, school, practice, weight training, and constant visits to the trainer, that I discovered just what was possible outside of my comfort zone. Since then, I have earned a scholarship to play baseball, which moved my family across the country, graduated from college, started a full time assistant coaching position at the school where I received my scholarship for baseball, and began work on my Master’s degree in Positive Coaching and Athletic Leadership from the University of Missouri. Now I am called to help others avoid my mistakes and offer the path that brought me back.

Pursuit 4 Purpose was created to bring athletes together to share their common struggle of trying to become their best. Athletes challenge themselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually every day all for the challenge of knowing they can accomplish their goals. This is life…without the game. By uniting together now, we will build a network of individuals poised to take on any challenge they may see ahead of them!

I truly hope you find YOUR success.
